Making your own healthy chocolate is easier than you think. All you need are a few simple ingredients, a pot and bowl, a whisk, parchment paper or a mold to pour your chocolate into.



1 cup cacao butter
¾ cup cacao powder or cacao paste
2 tbsp maple syrup
3 tbsp PlanetHemp Hemp Seeds


Bring a large pot one-quarter filled with water to a slow boil. Put the cacao butter in a double boiler and slowly melt over medium to low heat. When it’s melted, add in your chocolate and remove from heat and stir with a wooden spoon until melted. Add sweetener and 3 tbsp of Hemp Seeds. Pour into a mold or onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and spread as thick or as thin as desired. Chill for an hour in the freezer.
