This is a healthy twist on a classic sweet. Exquisite Chocolate Macaroons made with natural ingredients and high protein, nutrient-packed hemp.



Meringue Wafers:

4 egg whites
1/3 cup ground cane sugar
1 1/2 cup icing sugar
1 cup Hemp Meal
pinch salt

Chocolate Pumpkin Filling:

50 ml coconut cream
50 ml Homemade Hemp Milk
1/4 cup dark chocolate
3 tbsp pumpkin
2 tbsp PlanetHemp Hemp Oil
2 tbsp PlanetHemp Hemp Seeds
1 tbsp PlanetHemp Protein Superfood Original and 1 tbsp cacao powder
4 tbsp of ground cane sugar






Turn the oven to 300 degrees. For the meringue wafers, beat 4 egg whites and sugar until it meringues or when you tip the bowl upside down it stays put. Once the meringue is beaten, add vanilla extract and beat a bit more. Sift the Hemp Meal twice. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix with spatula. Pipe onto silicone sheet then bake for 20 minutes. Let cool and fill with filling.

For the filling, bring the hemp and coconut milk to a slow boil and remove from heat. Pour the hot milk mixture over the chocolate pieces and stir until melted. Put the bowl in the freezer for about 10 minutes to solidify. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.
